Adams Place in Yazoo County, Mississippi was listed on the Mississippi page. I eidted it to read Adams Place - Adams, Ballance. I created and edited the page Adams Place - Adams, Ballance with information about the plantation. The plantation page does not come up when I click on Adams Place - Adams, Ballance on the Mississippi page.

Hi Edward. I've been looking over the pages and I'm making text edits where needed. Thanks.

I added additonal information. I placed some plantations in alpha order. I tried to place my name Edward B Adams as a link at the bottom of the Bennett Plantation. It did not work. I want to add information on several plantations that were owned by families in the old Natchez District. Levin Rothrock Marshall's family is among those related by blood, marriage, and other associations. These families are related to the slaveholders of my ancestors. Some of the plantations are listed with no information.

Thanks for adding these notifications, Andy. Some of the original plantation lists for each county were based on lists I found on other genealogy sites, just to provide a starting place for plantation research. There could be more than one "Oakley Plantation" in that county, but having one for now is fine.

I moved the spot in which I added Only Plantation in Issaquena Co., because it was not in alphabetical order. I also deleted a plantation that was in the Issaquena Co. list twice "Oakley Plantation"

I added Richmond Plantation to the Adams County list. It was home to Levin R. Marshall - a large planter with more plantations in the area including in Louisiana. His son George M. Marshall married into the Hunt family.

I added Only Plantation to the Issaquena County list and created that plantation page.
